Why You Should Play: Super Robot Wars
An article written as a retrospective & coverage of the videogame series Super Robot Wars (a.k.a Super Robot Taisen) by Banpresto, Winkysoft, and Bandai-Namco Entertainment. I cover the 30-year history of the series and a short persuasive element about bringing attention to this series. The main reason why is because despite receiving an English language option, Super Robot Wars has primarily stayed in the Japanese and Asian regions with only a small handful of releases in the United States due to copyright issues from a majority of the titles.

WHAT WOULD DESTINY 2 WITHOUT LIGHT LOOK LIKE?
A speculative piece about the possible future of the game Destiny 2 by Bungie. I cover a possible set of futures the game may look like, both visually and mechanically after the "Light and Darkness Saga" currently ongoing has concluded after the events of Destiny 2: Lightfall, which is due to be released sometime in 2023.
Using lore entries from the Destiny Grimoire, a collection of short stories and information from the first Destiny game, and from current in-game lore entries in Destiny 2 I speculate on possible outcomes on how players will earn new powers from different allies or resources in the Destiny universe and what that might look like.

Destiny 2’s Darkest Expansion Shows a Bright Future

A reactionary piece looking back on Bungie's history since going independent and what the atmosphere of Destiny's 2 future looks like. After following player feedback to some degrees and delivering unexpected new features for their 2022 expansion titled The Witch Queen, Bungie looks poised to deliver some of the greatest online gaming experiences of the decade.

DEATH TRASH IS A GROTESQUE CYBERPUNK JOY
A preview of the independent role-playing game Death Trash. After playing the opening hours of the game I give my impressions on the unusual charm of this PC title. From the strange mechanics of using bodily fluids as machinery lube to befriending mutants, I cover how this game sets itself apart from competition like Black Isle Studio's Fallout 2 or Obsidian Entertainment's Wasteland 3.
PSYCHONAUTS: THE STORY SO FAR
A recap of Double Fine's franchise Psychonauts in preparation for the launch of Psychonauts 2 on PC and console platforms on August 25th, 2021. I cover the story at large in both the first Psychonauts game and the short VR platform sequel Psychonauts: In the Rhombus of Ruin. I also provide background on major characters in the game such as the heroes, main villains, and other major cast members.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND DESTINY 2'S LORENTZ DRIVER WEAPON

An analytical look at the new exotic weapon the Lorentz Driver in the videogame Destiny 2 and how its mechanics are representative of real-world scientific concepts and examples. I go over details of each component of the weapon's function and how they are basic representations of physics developed by scientists in the real world such as Hendrik Lorentz.

HOW REALISTIC IS ANT-MAN'S QUANTUM SCIENCE?

A look at how well, or poorly, the science and technology from the hit Marvel movie Ant-Man is executed. I go over the complications of being shrunken down, how the Quantum Realm's visuals stack up to real representations of macro photography of obscenely small objects in real life. Implications of existing at small sizes, how you could or could not be heard, and how your strength and speed scale up and down depending on your size.
