A project covering the history of famous fonts alongside the development of the automobile & aspects of automotive design.
The writing parallels how type design almost mimics certain aspects of automotive design such as the use of more sleek or ornamental fonts towards the Art Deco era back to more minimalist sans-serif fonts in the modern times.
Each time period is marked by a famous milestone in technological development or noteworthy vehicle with an illustration or photograph (where applicable) and a famous typeface from around those times.
Photographs featured were obtained with proper accreditation from archival resources.

It was particularly challenging to go back to the Renaissance and find anything related to autonomous transportation. The most famous example was DaVinci's self-propelled cart, which is commonly cited as the inspiration for the automobile.
Layouts were kept to a more minimalist kind of styling to not distract from the typography used in this book. The main goal was to demonstrate a consistent layout styling using multiple typefaces.
